Read on to learn more.I’m Doug Boebinger, PMP, a project management trainer, speaker, author, and consultant with more than 35 years of experience in the field. I’m PMI Agile Hybrid certified, a PMI ATP PMP Approved Instructor, and a Certified Training Provider (CTP) with the Project Management Training Alliance (PMTA).Back in the dark ages, I earned a couple of degrees from Purdue University. Project Management is known as the “accidental career,” but I always knew I wanted to be in project management. When I first graduated, I started working in construction management. Then I consulted with Ford Powertrain Global for twelve years, leading their project management and process improvement initiatives. I really enjoy making a difference for an organization, making it more effective and efficient for itself and its people. I got my PMP certification in 1994 (#3504).In 1997 I founded Integrated Process Developers, Inc. (IPDI), an internationally recognized project management consulting & training firm. We work with all sizes of companies, from small, independent businesses to large, Fortune 500 conglomerates, helping all our clients understand and implement project management best practices and improve their processes. I’ve also done a lot of work in executive education at various universities across the United States and Canada. I am the Academic Director for the PMP Prep program at the University of Saskatchewan.Apparently, people like my work because I’ve won the Masters Certificate in Project Management Award for Training Excellence from Schulich Executive Education Centre, York University, in Toronto, nine times. More books to come.I have traveled extensively, speaking and leading training focused on project management and effective leadership strategies.
