As a former software engineer turned aspiring bike mechanic, my journey has been driven by a dual passion for technology and cycling. A recent graduate of the United Bicycle Institute, I hold certifications in Professional Repair and Shop Operation, DT Swiss Wheel Building, and Suspension Technology. My transition into the bike industry is fueled by a desire to apply my technical skills to my passion for cycling, enhancing the riding experience for others.My connection to cycling extends beyond professional aspirations; it’s a personal passion. Having won the 2013 SM4 Without Limits Cyclocross series and the 2014 SM4 Criterium Colorado State Championship, and recently returning to racing with the Primal / Audi Denver team, competitive cycling has been a significant part of my life. This competitive spirit and commitment to the cycling community reflect my dedication to excellence and continuous improvement in all aspects of my work.At the heart of my transition is a hands-on experience with a diverse range of bicycles, including mountain, road, fixed gear, and e-bikes. Maintaining a fleet of around 10 bikes for myself and my family, I have become the go-to “Bike Guy” in our neighborhood.
