I plan and lead weekly worship. I visit the sick and the dying. I teach. I walk with these people in the Christian walk. This is a small Presbyterian congregation in the suburbs.

Support the Development and QA processes for the customer relationship management and financial management software used by the tellers in the branches. Position requires PowerShell, Visual Basic, and Windows shell scripting, automation, Microsoft Hyper-V Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Active Directory, hardware and software support of servers, workstations, and peripherals, including cash recyclers, and expertise tactfully balancing multiple priorities, projects and clients.

Managed a team in three states and two other countries that managed and supported hundreds of applications on over one hundred servers, local and remote, for intranet and business operations of the Firm. Standardized server builds and support procedures to lower TCO and reduce downtime. Managed conversions from Windows 2000 to 2003 and from 2003 to 2008. The team’s duties were to meet with software development teams and integrate their applications into tightly controlled environments, then provide support for the life of application. In this position, oversaw and mentored twenty-four technicians in multiple countries. This required a high degree of engineering knowledge, communication skills, personal tact and diplomacy, documentation, project management, and multitasking.

Supervised, on a day-to-day basis, a team of up to twelve consultants with varying technical and non-technical skills and abilities across multiple client locations all over Columbus and the surrounding area. Provided and directed technical support of Windows, Microsoft Back Office applications, SQL Server, Oracle, Active Server Pages, server and workstation hardware, and other technologies. Designed, built, implemented, and maintained custom applications as needed for clients’ business needs. Provided support to sales staff.

Performed complex integrations and Y2K remediation, wherever possible solving complex problems with simple solutions.

Served as part of the administration team for a 50,000+-user multi-domain Windows network system supporting student computing labs and other university facilities. Provided technical support to consultants and end users on Windows applications as needed. Designed, built, implemented, and maintained custom applications as needed for the University’s business and program needs. Standardized desktop hardware and software to lower TCO.
