The Supervisory Committee is an independent board responsible for overseeing the auditing functions of a credit union and ensuring the fiscal responsibility of Management and the Board of Directors. Visions FCU is a $5.5+ billion financial institution, and roughly the 60th largest credit union in the US. I provide strategic oversight and leadership to the Chief Audit Executive, review and edit responses for all official member complaints which are provided under my signature, provide communication linkage to the CEO and Board of Directors, and contribute to the selection\management of the credit union's external auditing firm. I also represent the credit union for lobbying of elected officials and related matters as appropriate. During my service time the CU has grown in size and complexity, from $3.3bn to $5.5bn and 900+ employees.

The American Registry for Internet Numbers is the non-profit entity charged with managing the raw Internet IP address resources for most of North America and the Caribbean. It is one of five similar entities globally, providing key building blocks that underpin core Internet services. ARIN's policies are uniquely driven by direct Internet community input, discussion, and debate. I serve on the Advisory Council, an elected 15-member group that helps shepherd changes to ARIN's policies for number resource allocations by working with the ARIN community and ARIN management. In this role I help draft and revise policy, travel to and present at public meetings, engage the community in policy dialogue, and volunteer to mentor new ARIN participants via the Fellows program.

Avant IT Consulting was a boutique IT consulting firm focused on the small and medium business market in the Southern Tier of upstate New York performing IT service and web development work. I co-founded Avant IT with a partner, and together we quickly built a small and successful IT consulting firm with three employees. My role was business development, project management, and service work. In September 2010, to further grow the Avant business, we sold the company to Forward Business Solutions and began work with them.

CYBERCity was the largest IT consulting provider in the Greater Binghamton market from 2003 - 2008, performing work for roughly 75 clients throughout the region with a total staff of 22.I had P&L responsibility for the Services business unit with a team of technicians and engineers performing daily work and projects for clients. During my tenure, departmental revenue more than doubled, we steadily acquired new clients and we greatly increased (>40%) our revenue-per-employee numbers. I supervised the work of approximately 10 employees. My area of responsibility represented about 65% of total corporate revenue.Projects included server and network deployments with products such as Windows Small Business Server, Citrix Presentation Server, and Microsoft Exchange e-mail server, among others. I also had a key role in managing all client relationships with the sales department, performing the role of sales engineer.
