Conduct background investigations for provider's applying for affiliation with LifePoint Hospitals throughout the United States. The bulk of this job entails primary source verification of education, credentials, claims history, current affiliations, criminal backgrounds, peer reviews and licensures. This job entails tremendous amounts of organization, communication/coordination with inside and outside entities where timelines are of the essence. Each provider's background is unique and must be treated uniquely in order to meet the Joint Commission standards. Deadlines govern every decision, every day. I love the pressure and challenge this requires every day. Very grateful to have learned so much in such a little amount of time.
