Doug is currently Director of the Google Maps Practice and Location Intelligence at SADA (an Insight company), a 7-time Google Cloud Global Partner of the yearDoug spent 10+ years at Google Cloud in its formative years, most recently as Head of Google Cloud for the Healthcare Industry for the Western Region. Previously Doug was Head of Google Cloud -- Southwest Region covering strategic markets for healthcare, technology and SaaS companies. Doug started his career at Google responsible for the Google Maps business in North America, growing it from $50M to over $500M+ in ARR. Prior to Google, Doug was one of the first execs for Telogis (acquired by Verizon for >$800M in 2019) and served as Vice President of Platform software, his accomplishments included growing revenues by over 300% within the enterprise telematics business. Doug began his geospatial career at deCarta (acquired by Uber), a leading geospatial platform used to map the world. As Vice President of Platform Sales, he was one of the original Google Maps product launch members credited with the 2005 Google Maps roll out and subsequent 2006 launch of the Google Maps API, now used by over 5M businesses.Doug holds a M.S. degree in Geographic Information Science and Technology from the University of Southern California, an M.S. degree in Telecommunications from the University of Denver and a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of Colorado - Boulder. Doug lives in Lone Tree, Colorado and in his spare time enjoys road & mountain biking, is an all-mountain expert skier + overall outdoor enthusiast. Doug also enjoys spending time with his family including his daughter Dylan, a junior at UCSB and son Walker, a sophomore at Colorado State University.
