As a leader within the Corporate IT organization reporting to the CIO, my responsibilities include the oversight and leadership of pre- and post-merger and acquisition integration efforts including pre-deal analysis, integration planning & estimation, and post-deal integration execution within a very acquisitive environment. Specific responsibilities included:• Provided integration program management throughout the M&A life-cycle from deal analysis through integration and post-integration reviews.• Ensured a high level of project quality & client satisfaction throughout M&A activities by managing customer expectations and resolving cross-functional issues.• Determined required integration program budgets for inclusion in M&A modelling; partnered with Corporate Development, IT and Finance management to drive budgets and measurements.• Acted as the single point-of-contact and relationship manager for the IT and Business leaders from Nuance and the acquired company.• Partnered with the Business Systems, Network, Infrastructure, Security and End-User Services teams in the execution of integration activities; Ensured IT delivery per the plan of record and integration plans defined during the due diligence phase.• Provided program management for the successful end-to-end integration of acquired companies in a highly acquisitive environment, including Healthcare, Imaging, Voice-to-Text, Natural Language Understanding, Virtual Assistant, and Professional Service entities.

As the Vice President of IS/ IT reporting to the President/CEO, my responsibilities included building and leading the North America IS/IT organization in the implementation and support of infrastructure and applications for the North American subsidiary of Astra Tech, AB based in Sweden. Specific responsibilities include:• Led and managed IS/IT for the North American operations through effective decision making, timely communication, and coordination with corporate IS/IT in the support and implementation of strategic initiatives. o Program managed the prioritization and coordination of strategic development initiatives and managed the competing priorities between the US and Europe operations and development organizations. o Partnered with the development teams (US and Europe) in creation and support of software to support a fast-turnaround, custom medical manufacturing process. Products included 3D anatomical modeling software used to create hundreds of custom parts per day, customer web-based ordering portal, custom automated design software using multi-dimensional optimization algorithms, and ERP & MRP integration.• Led and maintained computing and telecommunications facilities, equipment, services, and applications that support the needs of key business functions including a geographically dispersed sales force, time sensitive manufacturing operation, software and product development groups, and corporate functions. o Mobile-enabled the 200+ sales force by migrating all sales/marketing content to the cloud, leverage Salesforce.com functionality, and providing mobile access via the iPad. o Increased the stability and availability of the high-volume, time sensitive production and manufacturing systems. o Implemented SOX and HIPAA compliance programs to meet annual testing and reporting requirements.• Led the post-acquisition IT Integration of Astra Tech into DENTSPLY from an infrastructure services and business systems perspective.

Reporting to the CIO as Vice President within IT, my responsibilities included implementing critical applications and support for the enterprise business functions; ensuring stability of enterprise-wide IT infrastructure; and leading information risk management; representing a $13M annual operating budget and $15-20M annual capital budget. In this position I led application implementation & support teams for corporate business functions, internal tools development & support, information security, IT controls & auditing, compliance (SOX, PCI, MA PII, etc.), enterprise IT infrastructure (client/desktop support, video conferencing, enterprise applications, IT purchasing/SAM), and contract management & negotiating. Specific accomplishments included:• Built Vistaprint’s corporate application support and IT infrastructure groups from 5 people to a team of 40+ deployed in 5 countries globally, providing effective support of enterprise business functions for a publically-traded company growing at 30+% annually.• Delivered on-time and on-budget the selection of SAP’s ECC 6.0 ERP, seamless implementation of 12+ modules across Finance, HR and Manufacturing, and effective integration with high-volume e-commerce sites. Leveraged low-cost sourcing options to deliver 25%+ program savings, at over $750K.• Drove key mitigations of enterprise risk:o Led the investigation, response and mitigation of multiple customer and partner fraud cases ($1-3 million annually) including the implementation of improved front-end fraud checking and order review processes.o Partnered with Finance leadership to build out on-line order processing solutions in company’s payment processor relationships improving stability and performance by providing multiple payment processing options for ~85% of global revenue, increased order acceptance rates, and delivered competitive savings of $1.3 million annually.

Managed teams (20-30 staff) responsible for Corporate Systems, Disaster Recovery, and Information Security.• Business Manager for Corporate Systems – Human Resources, Financial Accounting, Financial Operations, Tax/Treasury, and Partner Services. Responsible for partnering with key business sponsors to gain an understanding of their business needs in an effort to implement strategic IT solutions.• Managed the implementation of PeopleSoft ERP for Human Resources, replacing antiquated system and greatly improving HR processes, workflow, reporting, and enabling employee self-service.• Senior Enterprise Technology Manager responsible for the management, budgeting, project planning, resource planning and daily issue resolution for Enterprise Technologies departments.• Manager of Disaster Recovery and Security responsible for establishing system recovery capabilities including enterprise-wide system and application recovery procedures. Responsible for the implementation of multiple firewall technologies, intrusion detection software, and recurring vulnerability assessments.

* Delivery Director responsible for working closely with multiple clients to gain an understanding of their business objectives while ensuring the on-time, successful delivery of multiple large-scale projects.
