Highlights: In the transition from MTV to the new venture Rhapsody America, championed and helped legal/M&A execute agreement for joint venture between MTV Networks and Real Networks called Rhapsody America where by, MTVN received half ownership of the Rhapsody business in conjunction with a $200M Advertising spend.During my 8 years at MTV Networks managed teams of 25+ addressing all manners of digital media, Product Management and User Experience. Created engaging, entertainment applications and new media experiences through interface design, site architecture, game design, Mobile Product Development, ad/sponsorship integration, social media, research & development.VP of Product Development - Digital Music - June 2004 to Aug 2007Spearheaded MTV Networks’ new subscription digital music initiative. Developed desktop media management application with integrated digital music service called URGE which launched May, 2006.Highlights: Integrated URGE into the Windows Media Player 11, developed an innovative ‘word wheel’ approach for searching and organizing catalogs of 200,000 artists. We had 70k subscribers in 60 days and our service was on a million desktops. The CNET review stated: "It's a pleasure to use the service to discover new music, thanks to its gorgeous graphical interface" and the "Automix" feature was lauded by PC Magazine in the November '06 review stating; 'Urge stomps iTunes in the discover-new-music department.'
