My main role is development of a Kaseya based monitoring platform along with maintaining the servers that this platform runs on.This includes interaction with customers, management and other engineers to get the right monitoring setup the first time.I maintain the back end of the sister web site to the Kaseya platform which integrates with a Connectwise ticketing platform.

During my time as a Service Engineer I have been stationed at the Southland Hospital working on anything from a printer in the ED department; the CEO Laptop and computer equipment in the ICU. I not only did the on site support but I also travelled to the satellite sites like Frankton Hospital; the Community Mental Health Units; and the Dental Clinics.During this time I was also the site engineer for James Hargest College.

As a Duty Manager involved in dealing with the public and weekend staff; creating the work rosters and general paper work; cleaning; and setting up for events.As a Residential Adviser I was always on call. If someone on my floor had an issue they would come and knock on my door and I would deal with everything from excessive noise; cleaning public areas and helping to remove unwanted people from the building.

I started rolling out workstations for the years replacements, but after about six months I had run out of machines to install and was given the additional responsibility for peripherals. This included keyboards, mice and printers.I was also called on to look after the open access suite, where I would fix any broken machines and provide help with the use of Office products; the use of the internet; and other software installed.
