• Led new and sustaining engineering work for seven clinical and reporting applications in the Enterprise Information Solutions product line, including EHR, ARRA, and MU products.• Directed engineering team in transition from McKesson Horizon (Linux/Oracle) to Paragon (Microsoft/SQL Server) platforms as well as created a new SSRS reports enterprise-wide product.• Managed and organized the Reports engineering team and integrated an eight-person team into the company’s SAFe agile development model.• Streamlined the reports product structure and advanced database connection architecture for 200 reports.• Eliminated reports bug backlog of 300 bugs and significantly reduced product technical debt.• Led creation of a document management application, solving key clinical application Meaningful Use workflow requirements and enabling patient documentation attachments to permanent medical records and secure emailed to authorized medical providers.• Created agile processes for multiple development teams and customized workflows to fit team goals for new development versus maintenance work, resulting in better work efficiency.• Coordinated and delivered six major releases for physician, nursing, regulatory, clinical documentation, and infrastructure products, all key product components for the company’s enterprise software that manage patient care from admission through discharge.• Managed both onshore and offshore engineering teams, including contractors, with up to 18 direct staff reports and a multimillion-dollar salary budget.• Led the Customer Performance Team and was acting director in 2011, including design of operational escalation processes that drove the flow of Tier 3 support for customer escalations across the development organization, as well as managed a customer escalation system, which was used by 400 employees.• Represented the company and development organization for a major hospital system upgrade event, resulting in retention of a key customer.
