Business BackgroundDoug joined Avison Young as a Principal in the Minneapolis office in September 2015. Prior to that, he was an Executive Director with Cushman & Wakefield, which in 2007 acquired Northstar Partners, a firm which Mr. Fulton was a Senior Vice President and co-founder. Prior to Northstar Partners, he held the position of Senior Vice President, Corporate Advisory Services for Grubb & Ellis, where he led a corporate advisory team on behalf of his team’s clients.Professional Affiliations and AccreditationsDoug is a past board member and president of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and formerly served for six years on the board of directors of the Minnesota State Chamber of Commerce. He serves as a governor for Opportunity International, an international micro lending organization. He is active in his community, is a Scoutmaster for BSA Scouting Troop 5102 in Edina, President of OLG's Men Club and involved in numerous Dartmouth College volunteer functions. PersonalDoug and his wife Cindy live in Edina, MN where they are raising their family (three children still in school and one graduate from College).
