Founder / Exec. Director (Volunteer Community Service-Pending Next Career Position)
CurrentI created and managed a bi-weekly 501C3 non profit to help support executive level professionals who were dedicated to starting a new Career and / or participate in ongoing Career Improvement and Development. Designed all Marketing and event materials; conducted ongoing promotion to business and government leaders; led 45 attendee group meetings; organized and presented large group seminars; networked with and cold called speakers and participants; recruited, motivated, and delegated to other volunteer members. per the CRN Website (www.crnglobal.org): Since May 2011, The Career Resources Network (CRN) has been hosting bi-weekly events that are attended by 35-50 business professionals and executive level new Career Seekers. Founded by Doug Goodrum in 2011, CRN’s Executive Director and resident sales professional, CRN’s mission is to foster an empowering environment with result-oriented networking opportunities for career seekers as well as those seeking to advance their current careers (and be better prepared for the next Career Transition opportunity).
