Ignite Academy International, Inc. is a two-year junior college where students earn their AA degree in General Studies. My role as Operations Coordinator involved:• serving on the Executive Team as well as on the Board of Directors as Corporate Secretary • assisting the president to establish the college in Virginia, while relocating it from California • overseeing administrative operations, facilities, and finances • bookkeeping, invoicing students & collecting payments • assisting students with the financial aid process• designing promotional pieces and writing fund development letters • advising students in any area of need

• hiring, supervising, and mentoring church staff• leading the small groups ministry - attendance grew from 10% of adults to 70% in 4 yrs.• assisting the Lead Pastor as advisor, confidant, & implementer of vision/values/projects• overseeing the church’s finances and improving the budgeting process• serving as Interim Pastor for five months (By God's grace our attendance even grew!)• preaching as needed (multiple services/Sunday)• teaming with others to creatively program and implement services, events, & outreaches• providing pastoral care to people in crisis and those needing pre-marital counseling• performing weddings, funerals, baptisms, etc. • designing: a remodel of our sanctuary/classrooms; stage sets; logos; promos; & websiteAverage Sunday attendance at SFC = 550

• recruiting, training, & releasing a group of volunteers who helped start the church• reaching our community with the Gospel – seeing many people come to Christ & mature • teaching and preaching weekly • hiring and developing a church staff • establishing and maintaining accurate financial records and church policies• leading the church council in being missional while also saving for our future• slugging-it-out in a rented school building for eight years I’m grateful to say that the church continues to this day, recently relocating to its own building!
