Designed and implemented various aspects of a data center automation/utility computing platform application, DynaCenter. My areas of responsibility include designing, implementing, and documenting the external webservice API for integrators using SOAP and JSON; an internal plugin API for interfacing with several cloud vendors; and integrating 3rd party hardware devices such as power modules, network switches, load balancers, and storage arrays. Hired and managed a development team responsible for an online store tightly integrated with the ZapStation media player. I designed the basic architecture for the multi-tier system, including integration with the company ERP system and various vendors. Managed the entire development process from requirements gathering to deployment.

Principal architect and developer for a project to create a web front-end to an existing publishing system for medical news. Implemented a system for syndicating content between various publishing groups as part of merger integration. Designed a system to reformat content to make it suitable for display on handheld PDAs such as the Palm Pilot using AvantGo.

Reviewed "Python and Tkinter Programming" by John Grayson. Reviewed early editions of the manuscript for content, completeness, style, organization and technical accuracy. Reviewed final pre-press manuscript for technical accuracy.

Developed system for installing the internet banking suite of applications developed by S1. Integrated the installation of 3rd party products with those developed in-house. Trained developers on using our packaging tools.

Responsible for porting ERDAS Imagine to IBM AIX. Assisted with port to Windows 95 and NT 4.0. Maintained the nightly build system for all platforms. Redesigned the printer/plotter configuration system used by Imagine.
