I am currently serving as Sr. Project Advisor on several Coal to Liquid Conversion Projects. The first of which is the $2 billion Lima Energy Project in Lima, Ohio. This is a 3 Phase project extending over 5 years. Phase 1 is estimated at $400m and is expected to start construction summer of 2014. I served a dual role serving both as Project Controls Manager for the fully operating TFM copper and cobalt mining and processing facility and also as Construction Coordinator for the Phase 2 Expansion. As Project Coordinator, I was responsible for overall coordination between TFM Mining and Operations activities and the $1.045 billion Phase 2 Expansion construction project. As Project Controls Manager I assisted with management of the TFM Sustaining Capital Budget totaling in excess of $200m per year. The Sustaining Capital Budget comprised over 200 separate design studies and individual construction projects. I also assisted with management of over 100+ active construction projects and a TFM internal dedicated construction work force of over 1,000 workers. The entire facility employees over 6,000 workers on a 24/7/365 basis. -
