Sr. Project Advisor for Global Energy, Inc., USA Synthetic Fuel and Gasification Engineering Corporation, Cincinnati, Ohio. I am currently serving as Sr. Project Advisor on several Coal to Liquid Conversion Projects. The first of which is the $2 billion Lima Energy Project in Lima, Ohio. This is a 3 Phase project extending over 5 years. Phase 1 is estimated at $400m and is expected to start construction summer of 2014. My primary role is to assist with project management team assembly, cost estimating and overall scheduling. This will be the “first of its kind facility” built in the USA and will convert various grades of coal to synthetic fuels such as diesel fuel, gasoline, US Military Grade high octane jet fuel and rocket fuel.

Project Controls Manager for the Tenke Fungurume Mining (TFM) Facility, located in Fungurume, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Africa. I served a dual role serving both as Project Controls Manager for the fully operating TFM copper and cobalt mining and processing facility and also as Construction Coordinator for the Phase 2 Expansion. As Project Coordinator, I was responsible for overall coordination between TFM Mining and Operations activities and the $1.045 billion Phase 2 Expansion construction project. As Project Controls Manager I assisted with management of the TFM Sustaining Capital Budget totaling in excess of $200m per year. The Sustaining Capital Budget comprised over 200 separate design studies and individual construction projects. I also assisted with management of over 100+ active construction projects and a TFM internal dedicated construction work force of over 1,000 workers. The entire facility employees over 6,000 workers on a 24/7/365 basis.

Assistant Project Controls Manager: Freeport McMoRan Copper and Gold, Phoenix, AZ (6/15/08 – 10/12/09) Assistant Project Controls Manager for the $2.3 Billion Tenke Fungurume Mining (TFM) Facility, located in Fungurume, DRC, Africa. The TFM project at the time of construction was the single largest construction project in Africa with over 6,500 workers. This is the largest and richest copper deposit in the world. I assisted with all aspects of project programming and scheduling of eight prime contractors. I was directly responsible for construction coordination of the $250m Cobalt Processing Facility; $130m Tailings Storage Facility; work phase completion Action Planning; QA/QC Coordination; plant wide Final Inspections; Commissioning Coordination; Final Acceptance; Operations and Process Optimization; and Plant Shut-Down, Start-Up Scheduling and coordination.

Project Advisor for the $115 m, 285,000 sf Enviro Focus Technologies lead acid battery recycling facility located in Tampa, FL. I was esponsible for all construction cost estimating and advisor to executive management regarding Project Management and Contracting strategies.

Construction Manager for the $15 m, 30,000 sf, Unisys Data Center (Area F) expansion project located in Eagan, MN. This Data Center is a “State of the Art - Tier Three Data Center” facility showcasing the Eagan Flagship for Unisys worldwide. I was responsible for overall Project Team coordination including construction scheduling, total project budgeting, cost control, assembly and coordination of design / consultant team, coordination of all construction management activities and general contractor responsibilities.

Construction Manager for Farmington ISD 192 foe the $85 m Farmington High School. The Farmington High School is the largest High School facility built to date in Minnesota. The 435,000 sf state of the art High School occupies a 109 acre site. Facilities include a 600 seat auditorium, two gymnasiums, science labs, computer labs, music recital hall, outdoor track and field complex, two baseball fields, four softball fields, and six soccer fields. I was responsible for all construction phase activities: bidding, contract negotiations and award, scheduling, coordination of 37 Prime Contractors, and contract enforcement of all plans and specification provisions.

Project Manager for the Allianz North American Headquarters located in Minneapolis, MN. Served as the Owners Project Manager for the $214m, 1,323,000 sf Campus Complex. I was directly responsible for: Project Team selection and assembly; Management and coordination of the Owners Team; Management and coordination of the Design, Engineering, Consultant and Procurement Team; and Management and coordination of all General Contractor responsibilities. Developed and maintained the Project Master Schedule and Total Project Budget. The entire project encompassed a total cost of $214m, 658,000 sf and 237,000 sf class A+ Office Towers, a,665,000 sf - 2,500 stall parking ramp, two full service restaurants with dining facilities for 350 people, state of the art training facilities, twin data centers, a corporate fitness center considered the best in the Midwest US, 400 seat stadium seating auditorium, and outdoor courtyard ranked as one of the most unique in the US. The facility accommodates 3,000 employees. Allianz is the world’s 14th largest corporation. Both phases were completed on time and $4m under budget.

Project Manager for the $85 m, 450,000 sf, multi-level Grand Casino Hinckley Expansion project located in Hinckley, MN. Major expansion components consisted of the following: 300 room 14 story hotel; 2,500 seat convention and entertainment center; expanded and renovated gaming area; 200 stall underground parking facility; new East and West entrances; expanded administration and back of house areas; and additional guest amenities. I was directly responsible for: Overall Project Team management and coordination including Master Plan Schedule and Construction Scheduling; Total Project Budgeting and Cost Control; coordination of Design, Engineering, Consultant and Procurement Team; coordination of all Construction Management activities; and coordination of all General Contractor responsibilities.

Project Engineer for the $120 m, 250,000 sf multi-level senior high school located in Hamilton, Bermuda. Project consisted of a “State of the Art” educational facility.
