Bluebox Aviation Systems Ltd specialise in providing innovative IFE and retail solutions for the aviation industry. As the product specialist I combine my scientific and engineering experience with excellent interpersonal skills to help produce innovative products and ensure their successful entry into service. Specific roles include:- Leading hardware product development for the Bluebox Wow system- Managing product lifecycles and ongoing improvement projects- Responsible for completing and maintaining numerous product certification processes (DO-160, UL, TUV, CE)- Working closely with DoA and PoA organisations to produce and certify commercial aviation products- Key role in managing supply chain and manufacturer for product delivery- Responsible for successful entry into service of products with numerous major airlines - Client engagement and management

- Working partly on site to deliver solar PV installations on time and correctly.- Office based work focused on the efficient, and cost effective layout of solar PV systems.- Advising on the UK renewable market as a whole, and what the future holds for solar PV

- Working with the UK programme and awards managers to deliver the best quality applicants.- Assisting our winners in their business development.- Monitoring of the award winners progress.- Organising networking meetings and workshops for our winners to come together.

My main role:- To research potential applicants for the 2015 Ashden Awards- Working with both the UK and Sustainable Travel Awards programmes. - Involves both finding applicants, and also contacting them to assess their suitability and current work.

My responsibilities were:- To compile technical feasibility studies for small to medium scale Solar PV installations. - Using PVSol, sketch-up, and k2-base for PV system analysis- Sizing biomass boiler systems for domestic heating applications
