Created a consortium blockchain using Quorum (Enterprise Ethereum) and customized via smart contracts.Designed / architected APIs and middle tier services in Java / Spring and deployed using container services (Docker, Kubernetes) to Azure cloud.

Verity is an innovator of trust-building products for social platforms and online communities. We use blockchain based protocols and token incentives as a powerful way to encourage collaboration and engagement, resulting in healthy, vibrant online communities.As CTO of Verity I was focused on creating a software stack for self-sovereign identity, claims, attestations, and reputation analytics for blockchains. These components were the core of the Verity suite of products and the foundation for an interlocking value network for online communities and DAOs. On a daily basis I performed several roles that required excellent leadership, communication and technical skills that were in alignment with the strategy and goals of a startup. I performed in the capacity of:- A Leader, builder and shippers of code and products which fulfilled Verity's mission.- A Solidity and Ethereum blockchain smart contract development, testing and deployment.- An expert in designing token economies and blockchain incentive protocols.- An expert in self-sovereign identities, decentralized identities, cryptographic proofs.- A researcher of practical applications of zero knowledge proofs ( zkSNARKS ) and homomorphic encryption.- An architect and builder of REST services and core server for Verity reputation system which allows easy integration for clients and partners using Java, Spring, and AWS.- Creator of specifications for portable reputation, claims, and attestations which will standardize integration across heterogeneous blockchains and servers.

Sr. developer for BioBanking and Bioinformatic applications.- Worked on full stack Java/Spring/ZK application that aids in analyzing genetic mutations of cancer patients. Created APIs and components for consuming big data from the genomics computation cluster - combined with user input, annotations and metadata about gene mutations this allows for new insights and cancer diagnosis.- Lead developer for LabVantage bio-banking enterprise management system (BEMS). Worked closely with a small team of analysts and stakeholders. Our small team completed design, implementation and roll out in one half the time of other comparable institutions that were implementing similar systems.

Lead developer for upgrades to mission critical factory automation middleware for a new $8bn silicon foundry / chip fab.- Designed and coded middleware components which communicated directly with silicon wafer fab machines on the Chip Fab floor which enabled real-time supply of analytics information to the entire chip fab operation.- Created an extensive suite of tests that covered all possible outcomes for the data link to the chip fab machines in order to ensure successful roll out of this mission critical component.

Mission-critical application for control of Pacific NW power grid. - Sr. Engineer on small team that built a new real-time scheduling system for hydroelectric dams and river flow control. Worked on C# .net full stack from DB to middle tier to UI.- Sr. Dev on a simulator for scenario planning, power pricing and river flow for hydro-power generation. The simulator allowed customers to more efficiently forecast supply and demand. Designed and coded key components, established interfaces and patterns across all layers of the architecture.

Worked on a team creating custom software for mission critical sales order entry.- Managed roll out of EMEA region go-live for the finished global order entry system that processes over 100M in sales annually. Handled deployment issues as they came up and troubleshot synchronization scalability issues resulting in a flawless launch.- Designed and coded full stack components for a full featured desktop application.
