Before joining Intoto, he served as VP of marketing for Hifn (acquired by Exar), a leading provider of security and network processors, and as vice president of marketing and sales for ParkerVision, a wireless communications IC company. He has held senior management positions at leading companies such as Nortel Networks, Bay Networks, AMD, Auspex and Adaptec. Doug was also involved in the acquisition of WiFi startup Netwave Technologies by Bay Networks & Nortel, and during his engineering career, developed patented storage IC technology (patent# 5,659,690). Doug has actively participated on several Linux Foundation (CAMARA), GSMA, IEEE, ANSI and MEF committees focused on wireless, networking, communications and storage standards. For nearly 10 years, he was a voting member of the IEEE 802.11 Wi-Fi committee.
