I have always had an entrepreneurial appetite that drove me to passionately look for opportunities for professional and personal growth. This allowed me to grow from a service technician at a commercial office furniture company in western Canada, to Operations Director for one of the largest commercial office furniture companies in western Canada. Through my journey I was exceptionally fortunate to work in various jobs with great companies and great people, learning and gaining several valuable and transferable skill sets.For much of my professional career in office furniture I worked as self employed being both hands on in the field as Project Manager/Operations Manager and was often rewarded for outstanding performance. My natural ability to collaborate and lead in team environments has proven to be greatly beneficial in building commitment within project teams, which is often key in delivering a successful project.From my experience in management and leading teams, I recognized I have a desire to assist people in their growth and development. I am dedicated and unremitting at enhancing the employee experience and developing positive workplace cultures. I believe a good leader should be humble, empathetic, and look to add a little fun into the workday.When I am not at work I enjoy traveling, family time, food, and riding my motorcycle with friends.
