I was elected in April 2018 for the position of Bel-Nor Alderperson, elected for a two-year term. I represent Ward II. I join a four member Board with a Mayor (who will break tie votes). The position requires a preparation meeting and a public Board meeting monthly (third Monday 7:30 P. M.) In addition to ongoing duties, each Alderperson takes on specialized leadership for specific tasks. Currently, I coordinate the annual City-Wide Yard Sale (June), work to assist in the formation of the Neighborhood Watch program, coordinate Recycle information and other tasks as they develop. I represent (occasionally) the City of Bel-Nor at area-regional civic, community-civic-government meetings and events.

I am serving on the Staff of the Missouri Mid-South Conference working under the oversight of the Conference Minister, Ginny Brown Daniel. I am staffing-resourcing the Association Committees on Ministry for St. Louis Association (two Committees) and Eastern Association. I will be assisting these Committees in their work of clergy-local church credentialing, oversight, review and support. I work with Committees on Ministry to assist in clergy and church situations that require special attention and care. I attend and a times represent the Conference at services of Ordination and Installation. I work with the Conference Committee on Ministry-Covenanted Ministry. I work to coordinate with Trainers the Boundary-Awareness-Training events. Orginally short-term, I will continue to serve until a new Associate Conference Minister is hired.

I have served as Part-Time Supply Pastor of Concordia United Church of Christ (rural Belleville, IL) since May 1, 2017. I ended ministry at Concordia UCC on June 30 2018. I have contracted with the church to serve as Part-Time Interim Minister through June 30, 2018. Duties include: Worship Leader & Preaching, Meeting with Church Council and Committees, Teaching a Confirmation Class of Five Youth, Pastoral Care-Hospital Visitation-Home Visitation for Homebound Members, Office Hours-Four Hours a Week, Attending Church Events, Ecumenical and UCC Connections and "Other" Duties. I enjoyed my time serving this small congregation but decided it was time to move on to other endeavors and commitments.

New Hanover, Il

I am moving out of retirement to serve a small, spirited, alive UCC church (Zoar UCC in New Hanover) in the Southern Illinois Conference for three months (July to August 2016) while current Pastor, RJ Morgan is away on sabbatical. I will be preaching-leading worship, providing pastoral care, doing hospital visitations, officiating at funerals, providing home visits to home-bound members of the church, attending monthly Consistory meetings and leading-teaching a Wednesday evening Bible study. The church is about 45 miles from my home in St. Louis and I can get there in about 45-50 minutes. This is a part-time, limited, short-term ministry. I look forward getting back to local church ministry not only to serve a local church but also to prevent me from getting too "rusty."

I have contracted to serve until March 1, 2015 as the Acting Conference Minister of the Illinois South Conference of the United Church of Christ. I am following Sheldon Culver, who retired on October 31 and will serve until March when the new Designated Conference Minister will begin to serve. I will be commuting from my home in St. Louis (Bel-Nor), MO to the Conference office in Highland, IL and will providing oversight and executive leadership in this short-term ministry of preparing the Conference to receive the new incoming Designated Conference Minister.

I have moved to St. Louis, MO. .I provide oversight and encouragement to 70 United Church of Christ congregations, 6 UCC New Church Starts and over 150 clergy with UCC ministerial standing in the Conference. The South Central Conference covers Texas, Louisiana and Biloxi, MS.
