• Primary duties included inventing, and analyzing various telemetry schemes to achieve higher data rates. This resulted in the superior data rates Vertex Downhole sees with its Mudlink MWD system.

• Head of Research and Development responsible for allocating resources and resolving issues for gas and liquid analyzer projects.
• Set goals and direction for the development team, as well as providing software development support. Additional tasks included coordinating R&D efforts with the Boston group.

• Software Manager responsible wire-line embedded architecture, as well as advising another firmware engineer on how to resolve performance, and architectural issues Hunter Well Science was facing.
• Designed up hole and down hole telemetry firmware and modem, as well as a core firmware package for all Hunter Well Science sensors, including one notable feature, plug and play telemetry.

• Developed a patented signal processing algorithm which gives Galvanic’s H2S Tape analyzers unparalleled Linearity, Dynamic Range, and Repeatability of measurement. This algorithm has been responsible for branching.
• Headed up a company wide forensic computer search to locate evidence of wrong doing by ex-employees, as well as guiding another employee in reverse engineering the competition’s firmware, and showing that their.

• Prime developer for an EM Telemetry link, a Directional Sensor, as well as a Pressure Sensor, all of which met or surpassed schedule goals.
