I am a professional structural engineer with a focus on bridges and marine structures. My specialty is automating sophisticated analysis and design work using Python. When a project requires hundreds or thousands of load cases, construction sequence steps or other special circumstances, my ears perk up and I get into the zone.I have a wide range of training, experience and awards in structural engineering, architectural acoustics, computer programming and probabilistic risk assessment. Fueled by an insatiable appetite for learning I strive to never stop experimenting, and to get a little better every single day.Outside the office I have strong interests in health, fitness, music and the performing arts.
