I headed up the Rose Reisman's Personal Gourmet meal plan home delivery service of this Recipe Unlimited affiliate. My responsibilities included managing a staff of twelve, ensuring the e-commerce website was current and functional, customer service, helping develop new product offerings and services, procurement, and financial reporting. During my tenure, two new products and accompanying websites were launched, and I was instrumental in expanding our market from just the GTA to all of Southern Ontario from Ottawa to Windsor.

I dealt in business-to-business sales of digital office equipment and software solutions to corporate end-users, follow up customer service, and new business prospecting and development primarily in York Region, but with clients across the Greater Toronto Area. My clients included Peel District School Board, Toronto Catholic District School Board, Bob Rumball School for the Deaf, print for pay businesses, and churches.

I advise SMBs in the GTA, assisting them in maximizing their marketing exposure through online media, including pay per click advertising (SEM), website designs/improvements (SEO), video productions, display advertising campaigns, and advertising tracking solutions.

I advised business clients in York Region, assisting them in maximizing their marketing exposure through online and print media, specifically Canpages’ national business online search engine, website design, search engine optimization and regional phone directories, selling products including video clips, virtual tours, slide shows, and print display ads.

I dealt in business-to-business sales of digital office equipment and software solutions to corporate end-users, follow up customer service, and new business prospecting and development in the Don Mills, Toronto, ON territory. I was also responsible for some prospecting and sales in the open territory of north York Region. I successfully put together a bid for the Town of East Gwillimbury's copier and printing tender, winning the deal for Toshiba.

I handled business-to-business sales of logistic and courier services to companies and organizations, follow up customer service, and canvassed for new business opportunities, initially in the Toronto Financial District territory, and then the Concord, ON, territory.

Like my position at Toshiba, I dealt in direct business-to-business sales of digital office equipment and software solutions to corporate end-users, follow up customer service, and new business prospecting and development. Initially, I worked in the M5V downtown Toronto territory, and during my second employment with Danka (February 2004-August, 2005), I covered the town of Markham, ON .

I established and managed my own marketing company aimed at enabling art print retailers and wholesalers to “Turn Dead Inventory Into Black Ink” by acting as a clear-out broker for slow moving or dead inventories. I also introduced the only Canadian art print search service specializing in sports, which brought referrals including top Canadian athletes, sports broadcasters, and coaches. I had over two hundred clients in nine provinces and fourteen states, including The Canadian Tire Corporation, The Hockey Hall of Fame Gift Shop, and The Art Gallery of Ontario Gift Shop.

I managed a team of eleven sales reps in Canada and the U.S that continually met and surpassed sales quotas, selling limited edition art prints at wholesale to a retail dealer base. Sales peaked in I992 at over three million dollars for the year. I was also responsible for negotiating some contracts with sports celebrities, their agents, and official licensing organizations for a line of autographed art prints we published. I worked with Bobby Orr, Phil Esposito, Johnny Bucyk, 1993 American League Championship MVP Pitcher Dave Stewart, Stanley Cup winning Maple Leaf Goalie Johnny Bower, and others.

I was involved in opening the Canadian sales office of this American art print publisher. I was the sole sales representative in Canada, representing over thirty artists. During the first six months of Canadian operations, we invoiced over a quarter million dollars. I also toured Canada with various artists, created marketing strategies and materials, and qualified/opened new dealers.

I managed a team of five staff that were responsible for editorial content, advertising sales, page and ad design, paste up, subscriptions, and circulation for four publications: INSIGHT ON COLLECTIBLES, THE WORLD OF DOULTON, TRADE INSIGHT, and THE WILDLIFE COLLECTIBLES JOURNAL. The latter publication I created, and I wrote and edited the majority of articles, sold all the advertising, and worked as paste-up artist. I worked my way up from being the assistant editor of INSIGHT ON COLLECTIBLES in 1982 to become publisher of the company’s four publications by 1985. In connection with THE WILDLIFE COLLECTABLES JOURNAL, I successfully organized a wildlife art and collectibles show in Durham, Ontario in the summer of 1986. It featured over forty exhibiting artists, including Glen Loates, Michael Dumas, and George McLean.

I edited the publication CANADIAN STAMP NEWS. I was responsible for sourcing editorial material, editing copy, page design, and writing articles.
