My name is Douglas Bowman, and I am currently a newly graduated senior at Virginia Tech in Computer Science.I want to be an computer scientist because I admire the creative problems-solving aspect that surrounds the field, in which I can create a solution from a problem that's unique from someone else's solution and both can work and be beneficial for different things. I also love collaboration and admire all the work others have done in the field before me that I can take advantage of.I hope to continue to excel in college as I decide what kind of career I am going to pursue. The experiences I've gained through the Lee Hall Rocketry Team, Reformed University Fellowship, and my Software Engineering Internship at Motion Control Systems and Vorbeck have stretched me and molded me to be more like the computer scientist and person I hope to be someday.
