Highly Motivated worker with over 30 Years of experience Starting in 1976 in the US Navy. I completed Naval Nuclear Power School in the upper third of my Class. I was selected to become an Engineering Laboratory Technician and then was stationed aboard the USS Skipjack SSN 585. I was the Leading Engineering Laboratory Technician Responsible for all Reactor Plant Chemistry and Radiological Controls and an Engineering Watch Supervisor. I left the Navy after 6 years. I started my Commercial Nuclear Career at Maine Yankee as a Radiological Controls and Chemistry Technician till November of 1983.Then as a contractor Radiological Controls tech covering CRD Rebuilds, Rad Waste Decon of RAD Smearable, Locked High Radiation rooms. I started at James A Fitzpatrick Nuclear Power Plant (JAFNPP)in Dec 1986 as a Contractor Rad Tech I was made a Permanent Employee 1988. I stayed at JAFNPP for 13 years as a Chemistry and RP Tech and successfully passed NRRPT Exam. I chose to become an Electrician After 8 years I wanted to improve my carreer..So I went into Operations. I became a Subject Matter Expert in Electrical for operations. I wrote procedure changes and championed several safety changes to proceedures, I worked on Electrical Bus outages and the Outage Preperations I was a leader in getting improvements done within operations. I was instrumental in ALARA Camera's being used to monitor the plant in Steam Effected Area's while maintaining dose ALARA.
