Manage a technical services team of Service Engineers/Field Service Engineers providing distributors, contractors and end users with help troubleshooting medical imaging and irradiation system issues • Design, deliver, and monitor a service strategy that drives growth, by optimizing field service related market opportunities and customer satisfaction • Process improvement, by standardizing processes, training programs, tools, and materials • Engagement of the team, through a positive support mentality of customer needs • Service monitoring and service improvement by creating and using existing KPI's and monitoring analytics • Responsible for developing and evolving procedures and processes that directly impact service resolution and responsiveness • Ensure FDA requirements are met through compliance to ISO regulations and internal SOPs, proven through no findings or hits with two ISO audits and an FDA audit • Control and drive a customer escalation process and coordinate a resolution across departments • Supply resource planning and provide project management for large instrument installations • Assess resource requirements; interview, hire, oversee and manage the training of new service staff, addressing personnel knowledge gaps skill deficiencies through additional and advanced training • Pro-actively support and collaborate with the sales and account teams to identify opportunities to extend support to customers • Lead the quality assessment team for post product placement, driving reliability and usability improvements across all product lines • Performs special projects as required for company needs • Document activities on all of the above
