About Douglas Chapman

I have served as Chief Clinical Officer at Columbia River Mental Health Services in Vancouver, Washington. Currently, I am the Clinical Director at The DBT Clinic in Portland, Oregon. All together I have 15 plus years experience in management and clinical suprrvision. My counseling specialty is Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). This is an intensive treatment through which I assist people struggling with Borderline Personality Disorder or other issues related to emotion dysregulation, suicidal thoughts, and/or self-harm behaviors.I draw on DBT to address problems with depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction and other issues.
