Dato’ Douglas Cheng Heng Lee is a successful Malaysian entrepreneur with diverse interests in various business sectors. As founding Chairman of TREC Holdings, he played a major role in bringing to life the RM323 million TREC project, Malaysia's largest integrated lifestyle entertainment hub. Through Daman Group, Douglas is involved in the development of The Edge of U Thant, an exclusive residential development in Ampang Hilir. Also in the pipeline is HILIR, a high-end condominium with a GDV of RM143.35mil. Daman Group, a property investment company, also manages a portfolio of 23 commercial and residential properties in the Klang Valley.He is also a Director at Machines, the largest Apple Premium Reseller in Malaysia with 14 outlets nationwide.As a Director of GPL Group, Douglas manages 53 luxury sports and recreational clubs throughout Malaysia. He also runs Sports Planet, which operates a chain of futsal courts in Malaysia and Singapore.Douglas is also a key player in the F&B industry, with the Dragon-i and Canton-i chains boasting a total of 28 outlets nationwide.
