• Perform analysis and review of all assets in fixed income, equity, bank debt and derivatives to ensure the Fair Market valuation of each security is applied based on current market conditions.• Communicate directly with front office traders, security valuation vendors and sell side community to ensure timely and accurate valuations are applied to all securities.• Create composites of similar public companies for Private Equity investments to compare market valuation.• Create and distribute Fair Market Valuation memorandums for Private Equity investments based off of the company’s financials, performance and current market conditions.• Review quarterly financial statements of Private investment companies to ensure the current valuation of the company is still accurate.• Continuously review and keep abreast of regulatory changes in the financial community, especially with derivative and fixed income markets.• Liaise with Fund Accounting, Corporate Actions and Compliance to ensure comprehensive coverage of SEC guidelines for periodic SOC1 Audit.• Create Excel Macros to improve processes and increase efficiency, while eliminating operational and market risk.• Devise training plan for new associates on everyday procedures to assist in the development of analytical skills, researching companies, and analyzing various market activities.Systems: Bloomberg, Eagle Star, Multi Currency
