• Technical lead for JDS 3.0, an embedded airborne database component. Code was written to adhere to FAA DO-178C Level C guidelines and was portable to Windows, Linux, iOS, Android, Windows RT, and potential RTOS.
• Developed component using TCP/IP and UDP to allow EFB devices to automatically discover each other and share data over a LAN network.
• Integrated FliteDeck Pro iOS application with ADS-B weather (FIS-B) and traffic (TIS-B)
• Developed components to integrate Jeppesen terminal charts, enroute charts, and airport moving map (AMM) data into original Jeppesen Class 2 and Class 3 EFB systems

• Worked on the Flight Management System (FMS) software team and hardware test racks team as an entry level engineer and intern. Code was written in C/C++ to adhere to FAA DO-178B Level C standard and ran on a Collins.
• Developed a C++/LabView application to test all hardware (Arinc 429, analog, discrete, relay, and quad inputs/outputs) on the flight control system test rack.
• Wrote a simulator of a Teledyne machine which transmits weather images to the FMS
• Developed embedded software component to convert weather images from BMP format to RLE format on the fly
