I taught face-to-face and online sections of introductory economics.

Performed analyses of hiring, compensation, promotions and other employment outcomes in support of clients involved in litigation using a variety of statistical techniques and software packages. The analyses included comparisons of internal demographics with appropriate external labor markets for corporate clients and government agencies. Investigated potential wage and hour claims. Representative Projects• Managed construction of database to analyze age discrimination claims by biomedical researchers supported by a charitable organization.• Performed labor market analyses in response to claims of race discrimination at an agency of the federal government.• Conducted analysis of tax return data for three Southern states to identify instances of potential fraud.• Investigated claims of gender discrimination in promotions and compensation involving sales representatives for a large pharmaceuticals manufacturer.• Performed labor market analyses for a large urban school district, comparing representation of Hispanics and African Americans among teachers and administrators with that in other parts of the country. • Participated in analysis of potentially missed rest and meal breaks at a large national retailer.• Analyzed claims of off-the-clock work at a telecommunications company.• Calculated lost earnings for individuals involved in wrongful death and termination suits.

Taught courses in introductory micro and macroeconomics, intermediate micro economics and labor economics. Conducted research in labor economics leading to conference presentations and publications in refereed journals. Served on various academic committees.
