OCHC has annual revenue in excess of $10 million, over 100 employees, and experiences 60,000 annual patient visits. OCHC is a founding member of the Federal Urban Healthcare Network (FUHN).

Provided administrative leadership to a network of over 500 multispecialty physicians. I represented directly with regional Accountable Care Organizations, commercial health plans and vendor companies for; IT services, insurance benefit designs, quality measures and total cost of care. I lead and collaborate on clinical quality measures, performance/risk based contracts, and patient care coordination. Establishing interoperability for data exchange including financial and clinical is a significant focus. Negotiated a collaborative agreement with a 250 physician IPA in outstate Minnesota and western Wisconsin.

Executive and principle in this privately held company I helped found. IMR operated nine rehabilitation facilities in Minnesota and Florida. At IMR we provided Pulmonary Rehab, Neurological Rehab, Sports Rehab, Spine Care, Industrial Medicine, Speech Therapy, and Physician Services. I was responsible for approximately 3M in annual revenue and managed 50 employees. I oversaw: leasing arrangements; health plan contracts; federal and state regulatory compliance; standards or care; risk management programs; vendor and lender relations; and overall practice management. My financial responsibilities included all components of Revenue Cycle Management (i.e., patient registration, insurance verification, accurate and optimal coding, charge entry and claim submission, accounts receivable management, external collection agency performance). Additional financial experience included P&L accountability, capital and operational budgets.

Senior Executive for a 600 specialty physician IPA. Responsibilities included: network development expansion and growth; health plan contracting and oversight; corporate communications, insurance agency company, group purchasing company, cost of care analytics, and physician practice consultation. MSP also held a 50% share in a 300 primary care physician network.

Senior management position within this large public, teaching, and research medical center with an integrated 250 physician primary and multi-specialty practice. I managed external relations with owned and contracted community based primary care clinics; county health department; and county based HMO. I lead development of two primary care clinics, established a provider communications center for coordination of care; managed grant programs, and was liaison for state regulatory agencies and county wide operations.

Managed a professional Social Services Department and a Senior Programs Department. I supervised 25 clinical social workers; managed information and referral program; case management program; and transportation service. I was responsible for financial and quality oversight, hiring and direct supervision.
