During the 2013 June/July vacation I was employed by Dr T Walingo for a period of 4 weeks to design and build a programming kit with USB-based in-system programming as part of fulfilment of industrial attachment requirements. The kit consisted of an A4 sized main board with six peripheral devices (an LCD, a keypad, EEPROM, LED's, switches and Seven segment displays) and was designed to be compact and portable with its own power supply and all devices on the same board.
