COBOL Programmer / Analyst

Left when hours reduced to half-time.

Worked temporary bookkeeping and office associate positions. Specialized in data comparison, data conversion and account reconciliation. While still officially on the list of temporary employees, I have not received an assignment since moving into the City of Chicago. The open positions offered to me were too far out in the suburbs.

• Renovated 1880’s rowhouse in Baltimore. Designed new floor plans, functioned as general contractor (obtained permits, hired sub-contractors), performed demolition, assisted sub-contractors.• Rehabbed two bedroom condominium. Performed all work related to rehab.• Was responsible for all accounting activities related to renovation/rehab.• Managed residential and commercial properties.

Started as the law firm's file clerk, worked as a teller, worked as a trust department assistant, Studied, designed and implemented the automation of the trust department and collections department accounting systems. Participated in the design and renovation of the executive, trust and customer service areas.
