Scientist specialist with experience in health sciences and project management. Currently, I’m with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and based in St. Louis. I’ve completed a traditional scientific education (Ph.D. in chemistry) and have direct experience performing a variety of traditional and advanced pharmaceutical analysis methods. This has been complemented with an M.B.A. and a P.M.P. certification. The latter accomplishments aid in the pursuit of a management pathway which leverages scientific ability with the capacity to manage people and projects. Past work utilizing these skillsets includes coordinating multi-laboratory surveillance studies on U.S. regulated products, leading interdisciplinary teams investigating product quality for complex samples, and instituting GLP quality systems in pharmaceutical laboratories. Work has informed implementation of emergency-use authorizations, approval of small and large molecule generic drugs, and critical quality attribute regulatory requirements of complex drug products. I enjoy working on complex problems and developing new scientific and engineering technologies.
