Co-led the organization through its expansion from 13 to 23 staff. Manages and inspires staff to achieve the clinic's goal which is to address the legal issues facing Mississauga residents with low incomes. Primarily responsible for creating public awareness of the clinic, establishing and maintaining its partnerships with community stakeholders, and developing campaigns that address systemic barriers for our clients.

Provide advice and representation to low income individuals living in Mississauga in Landlord and Tenant law focusing in residential tenancies, co-operative housing, and subsidized housing. Also practicing income security law primarily focusing on the various social assistance programs. I also teach the community landlord and tenant law, social assistance, and civil advocacy from small groups to groups of almost 100 people. I am also involved in community development initiatives where I speak to decision makers to change laws or policies that would improve the lives of the people that I serve.

o Drafted facta for Judicial Review applications for the Federal Court. Prepared written legal submissions for Humanitarian and Compassionate applications, Post Determination Refugees Claimants in Canada class, temporary authorizations, Human Resources Skills Development Canada validations, small family business and economic applications for permanent residence. Represented clients before the Immigration and Refugee Board, in detention reviews, and before Small Claims Court.
