I am a hard-working, creative, and humorous individual who is looking for a lifelong position in the world of teaching. I am a recent graduate of the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Arts (Specialist in French, Minor in Psychology) and a Bachelor of Education. My B.Ed was obtained from OISE (Ontario Institute of Studies in Education) and was included as part of my French Concurrent Program at the University of Toronto. As such, my teachable subjects are in Intermediate/Senior French and Social Sciences. I am currently studying in an AQ Junior Course.Over the years, I have experienced a variety of leadership roles that involved the supervision and/or the education of children. I've supervised children at a local Summer Camp as a counselor and as Assistant Supervisor, I've tutored English to ESL students, I've had various placements in various schools during my studies, I had a teaching practicum in Core Grade 9 French classes and another with Grade 12 Social Science University Preparation classes, and I currently engage myself as a Respite support worker for people with developmental disabilities.I am currently looking for a teaching position that provides me with an opportunity to improve my teaching techniques while also giving me a chance to positively influence to lives of my students.
