Act as SME for various parts of Project including the following: Work Types, Sub Work Types, Prerequisites, Workflows, Job Plans, proper field documentation per PURA/DPU Requirements. For the Maximo System, create Compatible Unit (CU) Library for Gas Business which is utilized for estimating, material procurement, scheduling, accounting, and finance. The CU Library also includes Macro Units to simplify the design of gas mains, gas services, regulator stations and other gas construction work. Other WAM Roles include the following: Participate in Change Network by communicating and demonstrating Maximo and ClickMobile System to various Gas Departments, prepare training documents, oversee Contractor Time and Expense module, and standardize Gas Business between CT and MA including gas material consolidation.

Resident Engineer work consisted of the following: coordinate daily activities with the construction manager, contractors, subcontractors, fueling operator; participate in weekly contractor meetings, prepare required contract documentation and reports, coordinate written responses to contractor initiated correspondence, review and approve the contractor’s monthly pay requisitions, enforce all requirements and provisions of the construction contract, coordinate resolutions of design issues, review submittals and schedules, prepare drawing revisions on CAD, perform site inspections for various disciplines including civil/structural/electrical/mechanical, and track all correspondence including requests for information and project change orders.

Responsibilities included site resident engineering services for a $67 million-dollar Aircraft Fueling System Project in Boston. Office work included the following: review submittals, pay requisitions, and schedules, respond to contractor requests for information, prepare drawing revisions on CAD, prepare punch lists for various disciplines, and prepare as-built drawings for various disciplines utilizing contractor’s information and field notes. Developed information system for tracking of correspondence, submittals, requests for information, drawing revisions, etc. Site inspection work included the following: perform quality assurance role to assure contractor work performed in accordance to plans and specifications, coordinate with superintendents and foreman for general contractor and subcontractors, prepare daily construction and inspection reports for testing of piping, storage tanks, liner system, etc. Also performed civil/structural inspections for the following: rebar, backfill and compaction of soils, and placement of concrete. In August, 1999 to completion of project, served as Resident Engineer. Additional responsibilities included the following: conduct weekly contractor meetings, prepare required contract documentation and reports, coordinate written responses to contractor initiated correspondence, review and enforce all requirements and provisions of the construction contract, coordinate contract administrative issues and procedures with client, prepare final punch lists, coordinate contract close-out proceedings, manage the daily operation of the field office.

Performed computerized hydraulic analysis for various Aircraft Fueling Facilities that included modeling system pumps, valves, and flow characteristics to optimize design of each system. Prepared fuel studies that included projecting future fuel uplift and peak demand for various airports. Fuel studies included extensive research and coordination of existing information and future trends. Other areas of work included HVAC and Fire Protection System design, CAD design, feasibility studies, containment calculations, computerized tank rotation scheduling, code research, preparing specifications, cost estimating, scheduling, design and layout of various process piping system, and pump selection.
