Over the past two years, I've had the privilege of working in a Clinical Lab under the direct supervision of Anatomical and Clinical Pathologists. In my daily responsibilities, I handle various crucial tasks, including the accessioning of surgical specimens, specimen processing, distributing slides to Pathologists, and actively participating in frozen sections. During frozen sections, I take on the responsibilities of cutting and staining all of our frozen section cases. Additionally, I play a vital role in maintaining our processors to ensure the highest quality stains, ultimately contributing to excellent patient care.Currently, I am pursuing my Pre Med degree with a major in Bio Medical Sciences at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. My aspiration is to attend medical school after graduation to fulfill my lifelong dream of becoming a doctor. I'm particularly drawn to the fields of Pathology or Surgical Oncology.
