As part of the administrative leadership team, and as the lead instructional design specialist at one of Arizona’s largest school districts, I played an integral role in implementing a nationally recognized program to completely overhaul the instructional and administrative operations of an entire school system. My responsibilities included the design, implementation, and management of curriculum delivered through learning management systems ( LMS ) to support both the completely online and hybrid / blended course platforms. This also included the development and implementation of advanced assessment systems, the professional development training programs for instructors to support the new technology, as well as the data collection and analytical dashboard reporting systems for administration. These applications and systems supported over 14,000 students as well as over 2,000 instructors and administrators.In this role I was also a educational technologies presenter / lecturer at the Arizona Department of Education Professional Development and Leadership Academy ( PDLA ). ------------------------------------------------------------------ When I first joined the Yuma district I was in the role as a master teacher and Instructional leader, although having taught AP Government, AP European history, and AP United States history, with my business background and the shortage of qualified economics teachers, I spent most of the time teaching AP Micro and Macroeconomics.
