Developed 3 year strategy around three main project pillars: Farmer Tree Outreach, Refugee Outreach, and Women Empowerment. Managed international team of contractors to model and implement AFR100 recommended community forest landscape restoration practices. Drafted and implemented a Village Savings and Loan Association (VSLA). Wrote 4 successful grants to LUSH cosmetics and Kiwi Energy EcoGold. In 2018, WildFF's team delivered 120,000 seedlings to over 20,000 refugee households in the Palorinya Settlement. In addition, we distributed over 30,000 seedlings to 900 farmers in Bungatira County.In partnership with ARCAmazon and JungleKeepers in Peru, Doug negotiated and closed a land deal protecting an additional 2,800 acres of Peruvian Rainforest. This increases the total of connected protected land to 15,000+ acres. -
