As the Navy's only independent assessment agent, NSWC Corona provides objective assessment of the acquisition, material readiness, and warfighting capabilities of ship systems. In support of this effort, I model systems; maintain a dynamic configuration of parts, software, installations, and upgrades across nearly 90 ships; collect and validate failure data; examine technical documentation; and calculate system Key Performance Parameters (KPPs) and Key System Attributes (KSAs) using a Markov process. Finally, I compare the performance to the system design specifications and make recommendations to combat system Program Managers in charge of sustainment on where to spend their money to get the highest availability, supportability, and maintainability they can.

Our group designed, built and tested the electrical and mechanical components to cause a micro cantilever to oscillate using a laser. We submitted weekly written and video reports detailing progress and presented monthly for senior class. I was assigned to ensure assigned work and reports were completed and submitted on time.

I allotted money for events, drafted budget proposals, coordinated fundraising, supervised expenditures, assisted in planning weekly meetings, ordered food, and represented UC Riverside at the 2014 MRS conference in San Francisco. I also mentored several underclassmen by providing guidance towards finding research as well as classes to take.
