My name is Douglas Traver. I am an outgoing, personable individual. I have had two years experience in the field of metal recycling. In this field I learned about procurement, outside sales, and transportation. I just recently returned to the University of Tennessee to hone my skills and learn more about supply chain management. I believe this is an evolving field and there is a demand for graduates with logistics degrees. My prior knowledge of transportation has given me an understanding of how large production facilities operate. I enjoy working with all types of individuals with varying personalities. My time as a property manager of two apartment buildings has taught me how to work with others of varying backgrounds. I organized repair projects and employed private contractors to maintain rental properties. In addition to this, I collected and accounted for all monthly rent. I am actively looking for summer internships for any companies which employ Logistics. I am set to graduate in spring 2017.
