At Care Around the Block, our team of Aging Life Care Managers (Professional Nurses, Social Workers, and Speech-Language Pathologists) is honored to help families and their loved ones age well by providing Care Management, crisis intervention, and advocacy services through the ethics code of the Aging Life Care Association™. We specialize in helping older adults maintain their quality of life, while also keeping their independence. We offer a comprehensive in-home consultation, and then develop a care plan tailored to your loved one’s circumstances.In conjunction with Care Management, we also offer traditional caregiving, as well as a new concept of caregiving that we call Independent Care. While traditional in-home care companies tend to book in 4-hour minimums, we understand that some of our clients do not need that much constant assistance. Based out of your neighborhood, our Care Partners travel from home to home to assist with only the things you need. This could include meals, light housekeeping, bathing, and more!We also offer individualized dementia care through our EMBRACE program. This cognitive stimulation program includes assessments, exercises, and meaningful engagement designed with the aim to reduce cognitive decline and improve quality of life for everyone, including those with dementia, through every season of life.
