- Responsible for identifying and vetting abandoned/closed industrial contaminated properties for acquisition and liability assumption.- Instrumental in the acquisition of industrial properties with environmental contamination and liabilities. - Reviewed environmental reports to evaluate the level of risk to be assumed. Interacted with environmental regulators related to the properties to be acquired to determine requirements for cleanup. - Accumulated and reviewed all pertinent reals estate information pertaining to each potential acquisition. Negotiated real estate purchase price with sellers. - Prepared vendor Requests for Proposal/Requests for Quotes (RFPs/RFQs) and solicited and reviewed contractor bids. - Presented on several occasions at conferences regarding environmental liability assumption.
