-Ensure all approved credit facilities are administered in compliance with the Bank’s credit policies and procedures.-Collaborate with business teams and communicate credit administration decisions to ensure timely review of disbursement requests.-Support credit team in the development of policies and procedures in line with both the bank’s business strategy and regulatory requirements.-Developing timely and effective account rectification strategies for problem accounts to protect the banks’ lending position by collaboration with respective officers. -Manage data for credit transactions by ensuring data integrity and accuracy.-Write reports on credit administration process.-Ensure compliance to the agreed SLA/TAT for disbursement and other issues relating to both internal and external customers.-Management Information System (MIS) including monitoring system issues and escalating for resolution.-Undertake and manage various reconciliations related activities including GLs.-Ensuring that the security documentation and other necessary documentation are obtained and completed in all respects before draw-down of the facility.

My role in credit administration consists of:a) Overseeing Security and Documentation Unit covering all secured consumer, commercial and corporate business transactions.b) Liaising with external service providers to ensure all credit securities are perfected in line with the bank's policies.c) Reviewing the documentation for all credit requests and confirming if they meet all the approval terms and bank policies.d) Availing all the facilities in the core banking system.e) Monitoring credit facilities within the approved tenor to ensure strict compliance to approval terms and the bank’s policies and highlighting any noncompliance or breach for prompt mitigation.f) Closing of cleared facilities in the system and releasing of securities to the customers.
