Adapted brain imaging software (i.e., 3D Slicer) to visualize radio astronomy data (e.g., spectral line data cubes). The work was done largely in C++ using the ITK and VTK toolkits. Some of the work was done in Python.Also implemented an Ajax interface to a data warehouse of astronomical light curves and an applet using Processing/Java to visualize a dendrogram representation of radio astronomy iso-contour data.Took a Harvard College/GSAS graduate-level class in interactive data visualization, and the next semester was a paid teaching fellow for the class.

Maintained EDI software using XML, XSLT, and mix of other technologies.

Implemented and maintained the configuration software for the Rossi X-ray Timing Explorer, a NASA space telescope. This software was essential for the publication of more than 700 peer-reviewed journal papers. This project was programmed in C++. Other projects I worked on here used Python.Took an MIT graduate-level class in dynamic programming languages.
