I was part of a four-person editing team that edited stories and wrote headlines for Crain Communication's 45,000-circulation weekly newspaper covering business in Chicago.

Copy-edited stories and graphics, and wrote headlines for the nation/world and metro sections. Also was slot editor for the paper once a week in addition to being the wire editor on an irregular basis.

I was a hands-on editor in charge of the final editing, headline writing and production of the Miami Herald's metro section.
