As the Oracle developer of the mercury .Net system, I was responsible for encapsulating all of the business logic and data access into stored procedures. The goal of this project was to move the PowerBuilder client into the company standard .Net platform. A major enhancement of the existing application was the introduction of order processing from within the new client application. As the Oracle developer of the mercury posting subsystem I was responsible for writing the procedures to support the business logic and data access. The goal of this project was to move the file based posting process to a more reliable messaging queue solution and improve posting throughput. A major enhancement to the existing system was the addition of automatically matching completed order executions with the allocations found in the mercury client. This enhancement allowed allocations to move through the mercury system without any manual intervention by the Schwab traders.

Systems ConsultantOn-going enhancements to a marketing information system developed using PowerBuilder and Oracle. Recent efforts include:• The design and development of a ‘wizard’ to allow a new customer to be entered into the MarKIT™ system in a minimal amount time.• The design and development of a ‘more’ window which allows an administrator to ‘paint’ a window to facilitate the collection of additional information about a customer.• The design and development of an administrative tool to allow system administrators and users to configure system properties.Design, develop and maintain residential and commercial auditing systems using Visual Basic, Borland C++, Microsoft Access, Paradox; Microsoft C, dBASE; Pascal and DataFlex.

Designed, developed and implemented a manufacturing auditing tool to manage quality assurance data for the production of vehicle airbags.Developed a utility to perform daily extractions of accounts payable information. The utility extracts data from seven sites and sends the information to the Corporate Data Warehouse via DMQ (DEC messaging queue).
