As Chief Operating Officer I have the privilege of working with an experienced team to develop our goals and strategic direction, and to support the many ongoing initiatives to support those goals.  The role also provides the opportunity to work with our Global Partners; Colour Hive, Chameleon Color Cards, Metamorfosis & Duha Group, Asuka Colour Technologies and Robert Exact Colours. We also have the incredible support of our own Duha Centre of Excellence to support our Journey through change (Kiazen) and Continuous Improvement. Healthy Business Systems and Processes are important to ensure all our operations communicate and work effectively.  Office workflow has been a cornerstone of our improvements in communication with our clients.  From implementing a new CRM, ERP, financial suite, and continued development of our MRP, I work in a leadership and guiding role to make sure the needs of the business are core to those developments.  Information flow and better resource planning has led to many improvements in cycle times, and on-time deliveries.  Operational Improvements are always a focus of a COO, and some obvious enhancements have been made in the form of Automation and Robotics. Many of our best ideas come from our plant floor teams and the many Kaizen events providing continuous improvements.  Often my most important role is to simply provide support and resources and to stay out of the way!I have been fortunate to have many roles over the years in operations and in Sales, that have diversified my experience within the company and gain an intimate understanding of our client’s needs.  Essential service such as rapid responses to RFQ and timeline requests have helped us grow our relationships with customers and establish new customers.I enjoy spending some time on both Industry and community boards.  This keeps me connected to both the industry and our community.
